Written by her foster - Maia enjoys playing hide and seek, figuring out how to fetch toys from challenging places (like trees, holes, obstacle courses, rivers, and the ocean). She is very tenacious when given a job to do. Maia is confident but aloof with strangers, but at the same time loving and playful with family (loves a belly rub). She keeps a vigilant eye on her ‘human pack’ during outings. Maia pays attention to what is happening around the perimeter of our property. We feel secure with her lovely deep bark alerting us to unusual activity.
